Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with a local hospital association seeking a Facilities Manager to support their MD location. If you bring healthcare/hospital experience with life safety management and understanding of joint commission standards, and not afraid to get your hands dirty, apply now!

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate installation and refurbishment activities.
  • Inspect and determine need for repairs
  • Supervise facilities staff and vendors/contractors
  • Maintain comfortable environment for patients and staff in accordance with policies and procedures, ARHM, JCAHO, etc.
  • Maintain facilities records
  • Manage the safety program and serve as Safety Officer
  • Educate hospital staff regarding safety procedures and regulations

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience in building maintenance in a healthcare/hospital setting
  • 5+ years experience in Life Safety management
  • Knowledge of joint commission standards
  • Electrician, HVAC or plumbing certifications preferred
  • CMS/work order/reporting experience a plus
