The Clinical Manager oversees all clinical aspects of Adventist Home Assistance/Adventist Choice Nursing (AHA/CAN), quality management, and Certified Nursing Assistant education and supervision. This position must monitor and manage clinical operations in a fiscally responsible manner as well as fostering and maintaining positive customer relations in accordance with agency policies and procedures governing regulations.

The Clinical Manager facilitates the clinical operations within AHC's mission, vision and RISES values and in accordance with the organization's Pillars of Excellence (People, Quality and Safety, Patient Experience, Finance, Growth, and Population Health Management.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities including Direct Reports:

• Oversees the management of some administrative and clinical staff to
include, but not limited to interviewing, hiring, and performance management.
• Facilitate staff resources, coordination and implementation of clinical
education and orientation of CNA, CMT, LPN, and RN Staff.
• Oversight and implementation of Quality and Patient Safety Initiatives
• Ensures agency survey readiness and compliance with RSA/NRSA.
• Cross collaboration of Home Care Services and other AHC entities and provide
timely resolution to maintain positive internal and external relationships.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics:

• Ability to maintain positive internal and external customer relationships
• Ability to collaborate across the Home Care Division
• Strong clinical judgement and critical thinking
• Knowledge of Nurse Practice Act
• Ability to manage others
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education, Experience, and Certification Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required or must complete BSN within 3
years of hire
• Master's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Valid Maryland and DC RN licensure required
• Valid American Heart Association BLS/CPR Certification
• Three years Medical/Surgical Nursing experience
• Two years home care nursing experience
• Two to three years supervisor experience preference
• Valid Driver's License
