Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Staff Accountant who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Staff Accountant, you will:

• Prepare, post journal entries and maintain work papers to support balances
• Assist with monthly accounting close: journal entries for accruals and adjustment purposes
• Research and resolve problems
• Responsible for month-end journal entries for general ledger accounts
• Assist with the month-end federal and state grant invoicing, coordinates with program managers
• Assist with the month-end foundation accounting
• Assist with A-133, federal, state and local audits
• Process supplier invoices
• Other duties and projects, as assigned

Qualified candidates will possess:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with grant accounting and/or foundation accounting a plus
• Experience with Workday and/or Raiser's Edge a plus
• Consistent quality work, demonstrated aptitude for accuracy and detail
• Exceptional communication skills
• Team player
• Integrity and trust

Work Schedule:

Full-time days; Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
