Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Facilities and Property Management SME to serve as the chief Subject Matter Expert for the automated facilities and property management systems within the Federal Government client's Office of Facilities and Property Management (OFPM). These systems include asset tracking, inventory, work order management, storeroom, preventive maintenance, power and fuel management, accountable personal property, real property, and fleet management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage, administer, and write requirements for automated facilities and property management systems

• Coordinate interactions with the NIST financial system or other business systems

• Lead and/or conduct development, testing, administration, configuration management, operations, and maintenance of facilities and property management systems

• Gather, document and analyze user requirements

• Lead process improvement, develop system reports, define specialized operating procedures, and execute end-to-end software tests

• Communicate effectively with executives, stakeholders, vendors, and customers

• Lead facilities-related IT projects, including implementation of Commerce/Government-wide software

• Manage change relating to OFPM business processes and tools

• Leverage automated query tools such as TOAD and SQL to extract data, and spreadsheet tools such as MS Excel to present and analyze data

• Provide ongoing, direct customer service to OFPM, including problem resolution and application administration

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of recent experience implementing, managing, administering, and writing requirements for automated systems for facilities and property management

• Knowledge of IBM Maximo (used for some of OFPM's functions

• Knowledge of Oracle Fixed Assets (used for property)
