Overview: LMI is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst at our Washington, DC location. The successful candidate will be highly adaptable, a creative problem solver, and detail oriented. A highly qualified candidate will be able to model financial data into easy to understand graphics, provide industry subject matter expertise on metrics and metrics tracking, and be able to communicate data to various levels of stakeholders, to include executive and congressional audiences. Responsibilities: Provide financial oversight activities designed to ensure proper stewardship of government funds Support project management team and compile, maintain, and interpret financial data Conduct financial analyses, reviews, and create effective dashboards for information display Support activity-based costing and capital investment decision making cycle Draft status reports of pending and resolved actions/deliverables Prepare briefings and informational papers for team and leadership as required Work with various project leaders to track financials across multiple, interrelated projects Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field. 8 plus years in a financial management business-related field demonstrating self-confidence, management of workload, communication with diverse individuals, application of good judgment, and working knowledge of business systems Proficiency in various data analysis tools, spreadsheets, and database programs Knowledge/familiarity with activity-based costing and capital investment Possess a high financial acumen and understands how finances relate to project management Ability to read large data sets and create dashboards Demonstrated ability to convey complex technical and financial information to senior leadership in an actionable format Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write, and proofread a variety of general business documents and collateral materials. Ability to adapt to changing business efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities
