ENTRY-LEVEL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ADMIN Do you like working in a fast-paced environment? Wearing multiple hats? Learning new skill-sets? ACM Construction Group, a multidisciplinary, opportunistic Construction management company based in Washington DC, is looking for an Entry-level Construction Project Engineer to help plan and supervise a ground-up multifamily construction project from inception to close. You will work alongside the Project Manager, performing tasks as needed, overseeing construction procedures, and ensuring they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. An excellent Entery Level Construction Project Engineer must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field. Internship experience in engineering or construction industry. Internship experience in multi-family, ground up construction (preferred) Ability to read, understand, review, and organize construction plans and specifications. Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure to meet established deadlines and budgets. Experience with Engineering software. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to): Produce and implement all elements of the project execution plan, including tracking and management of project budgets, negotiation and awarding of work, schedule, etc. to ensure development projects stay on budget and schedule. Assist pre-development, design/coordination, and project development through delivery. Work alongside external partners, eg general contractors, architects, utility consultants, environmental consultants, interior designers, etc., communicating effectively to get the job done. Ensure quality control via regular quality inspection checks. Coordinate the testing and inspection firm's activities prior to and during the construction process. Manage construction equipment and enforce safety management. Preparing and supervising completion of project closeout.
