We are a busier location where we need all hands on deck, but together we operate smoothly and efficiently.A Typical Day As An LPN 2 Consists Of* Checking Vitals* Triaging Patients* Rooming Patients* Documentation in EMR (EPIC)* Prescription Refills* Assisting in daily scheduling of other nursing support staff* In Basket Management* Patient Calls and Education* Assisting with ProceduresThis is a great opportunity in the outpatient arena and to further your knowledge and experience regardless if you are a seasoned nurse or graduated within the last couple of years.A Little More: Provides basic therapeutic nursing care, according to established standards of practice, under the direction and supervision of a physician. Provides care to patients whose care requirements are routine and standardized, with predictable outcomes. Assists the physician and the healthcare team to achieve desired patient outcomes. Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with others. Has respect for and understanding of other clinical disciplines. Serves as a resource for other clinical staff to increase their expertise in care planning, patient teaching, and patient-centered care. Evaluates and maintains the environment to promote patient and healthcare team safety. Required to float between multiple locations. Demonstrates knowledge of quality improvement initiatives. Participates in performance improvement activities. Assumes responsibility for self-development in lifelong learning. Proficient in verbal and written communications.* Proficient in using software, such as Microsoft Word, Epic, and other software as required.* Must have ability to float between multiple locations as required.
