Responsibilities

The NRO will make selections at the GG-12 level for this position

As a EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATOR you will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Provides administrative coordination for Office of the Director staff actions and correspondence.
  • Reviews and analyzes incoming Executive Office staff actions and decision correspondence.
  • Based on an analysis of content of incoming actions, works with specific direction concerning type of response required, the level of signature authority and requirements coordination necessitated with other staff elements.
  • Analyzes the nature and gravity of the issue or situation involved, ensures that matters requiring the NRO Senior Leaderships' attention receive the appropriate priority and response.
  • Monitors all actions through to completion providing assistance as requested.
  • Following supervisor's review, determines which actions may be released with originator's signature based on in-depth knowledge of office policies and procedures.
  • Provides technical assistance and guidance on administrative policies and procedures for the processing and completion of executive level actions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Travel Required

Occasional travel - May be required to travel CONUS and OCONUS in military or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty.

Qualifications

This position is a Full Performance Level DCIPS position. DCIPS Full Performance Level positions include GG-12. The NRO is accepting applications from current Federal Government employees and non-Federal Government employees. Federal government employees, who are currently at a GS/GG-12, or equivalent may ONLY apply for a lateral reassignment at their current grade level, and step.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Experience must be reflected in your resume.

Specialized experience required for this position is:
  • Skilled in the design and use of automated databases and spreadsheet software to develop and improve the validity and accuracy of data collection, storage, and reporting and explain the use of established databases for historical reference and analysis.
  • Maintains effective working relationships with internal and external customers and serve as a point of contact for assigned facility projects.
  • Ability to develop and integrate multiple project schedules into an integrated master schedule and execute construction projects within established financial and time constraints.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare budgets based on plans for maintenance, repair work, new construction, alteration projects, and replacement of existing equipment.
