The ideal candidates will be motivated, self-starters with great communications skills. Roles & Responsibilities: Work with Microsoft SCCM to provide user workstation baseline configuration and administration of operating systems Leverage SCCM to provide security updates, vulnerability patches, hotfixes and other updates to user workstations and servers. Develop and maintain baselines images for servers and laptops to add the latest security updates, software versions, hotfixes, patches, etc. Perform In Place Upgrades as needed for servers and laptops. Maintain existing packages and add new packages to the enterprise software catalog. Create and administer advertisements, programs, collections, and custom reports in SCCM. Troubleshoot failed SCCM deployments and SCCM health issues. Administer SCCM software delivery, including various methods such as running advertised programs, machine targeted, user targeted, Application Library, and Software Center. Administer the SCCM tool set back end to keep the system running and healthy, including changes to the core components and settings, software delivery, client heath, reporting, boundaries, and bandwidth settings. Manage and administer SCCM client health, including the process of getting clients healthy Perform general SCCM administration and troubleshooting. Modify and deploy 3rd party packaging, and troubleshoot 3rd party package installs. Leverage group policy to modify installation package behavior, restrict OS features, and improve workstation security. Use WSUS to address patching and updates across a Windows enterprise. Configure AppV to virtualize applications such as the MS Office suite, etc. Experience with Microsoft Office 2019 a significant plus. Qualifications & Requirements: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline is required. MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related disciplines preferred. DoD 8140 compliance required. Position requires one to five years of relevant experience supporting projects of similar size, scope and complexity. Relevant experience can be substituted for education.
