Type of Requisition:PipelineClearance Level Must Currently Possess:Top SecretClearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain:NoneSuitability:No Suitability RequiredPublic Trust/Other Required:Job Family:Systems AdministrationJob Description: Administer Linux and Unix operating systems and provisioning applications; Administer Microsoft Windows environments Administer Windows Server / Active Directory Admin Administer Big Data environments such as Hadoop and Acumulo and provisioning software; Administer VMWare hypervisor environment and provisioning software; Administer storage platforms which provision the environment; Evaluate system problems of workflow, organization, and planning and develops appropriate corrective action; Perform quality control of processes and products produced; Assist in the formulation of technical strategies and processes for administered systems; Write, interpret and analyze technical documentation related to system administration; and Provide consulting support, if requested, to working groups (both internal and external) and committees as substantive authority in subject area. Required Qualifications and Experience: Two (2) Senior System Administrators with at least fifteen (15) years of experience; balance of other FTEs with at least five (5+) years of prior of system administration experience; (Preferred) Four-year (4-year) degree in applicable discipline. For education/equivalence, see section 4.4 Experience with: o Linux and Unix operating systems and provisioning applications; o Windows Server operating system environments; o Windows Server / Active Directory Admin o Big Data environments such as Hadoop and Acumulo and provisioning software; o VMWare hypervisor environment and provisioning software; o Administer storage platforms which provision the environment; (Preferred) Multiple System certifications in provisioning technologies such as Redhat Certified, Linux+, Security+; Implementation of Government system design; and extensive knowledge and experience in the implementation of information technology equipment and services; Extensive knowledge of methodology, federal information system policies (eg NIST 800.53, FISMA, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), configuration management).
