Ref ID: 04510-9502874624Classification: Systems EngineerCompensation: $45.67 to $60.10 hourlyAs a Systems Engineer II, you will work closely with our service desk, network, systems, and cyber security engineering teams to provide escalation support, administration, maintenance and upgrading of our internal systems infrastructure. You should be passionate about using technology to help people lead simpler, fulfilling, and more rewarding lives.The position will be responsible for the following:* Assist the service desk, network, systems and cybersecurity engineering teams with resolving escalated support incidents and problems* Deploy, administer, maintain, and support a Windows Active Directory and Server OS environment* Deploy, administer, maintain, and support Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Office, Teams, SharePoint Online, Azure AD) and Azure cloud hosted services* Use PowerShell, Group Policy and SCCM to maintain operating system and application configuration profiles* Deploy, update and maintain firmware updates for systems infrastructure equipment* Deploy, update, and maintain server applications* Assist database administrators to maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft SQL databases* Manage the implementation, maintenance, support and testing of a backup and disaster recovery solution* Document, maintain, and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) and processes* Work with all members of the IT department to maintain a zero-trust security architecture to ensure that our systems are protected and secure* Provide input on the tactical and operational planning including initiative identification, recommendations, prioritization, scoping and establishing next steps to move them forward* Maintain system integrity and performance though active monitoring, logging, testing, troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolution* Improve system performance using all available techniques and measures, including hardware and software replacement, upgrade, capacity planning, sizing and optimization* Remain cognizant of and adhere to company policies and procedures, and regulations * Travel to other branches as needed for technical support or setup* Participate in an IT on-call rotation as neededJob Requirements:* BA/BS degree with an emphasis in IT/IS, Computer Science preferred or equivalent combination of experience and relevant certifications* Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience performing IT technical support and engineering* Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Server operating systems* Minimum 3 years of experience working with Microsoft 365 and Azure Cloud services* Linux experience desired but not required* Strong prioritization, problem solving, diagnosis and troubleshooting skills* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Ability to interact positively and effectively in group and individual situations at all levels within and outside the company* Microsoft Office 365 and/or Azure certifications highly preferred* Microsoft MCSA, MCITP, MCSE certifications highly preferred* Familiarity with the ITIL framework preferred* Experience working within the financial industry preferredRobert Half Technology matches IT professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
