The ideal candidate would be highly-skilled and eager to succeed in and whose role will include handling a variety of personnel related administrative tasks while providing clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. This long-term temporary-to-full-time HR Assistant position is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience with a growing company in the Arlington, Virginia area.What you get to do every single day: -Assist with new full-time/employee onboarding, including scheduling physicals, enter new full-time information, assist with onboarding documents -Assist with benefit administration, including enrolling and terminating members, COBRA administration -Help the HR manager with recruiting efforts, scheduling interviews, submitting job postings -Assist with company events, both virtual and in person -Manage COVID reporting procedures -Create ID badges and order business cards for employees -Support payroll data entry, approving and auditing timesheets -Track payroll expenses and track to projectsJob Requirements:Requirements2-3 years in an HR Coordinator Role or HR Specialist role.
