Job Description Alert Five is seeking a Systems Engineer for the design, build, and manage of a hybrid multi-cloud environment for a client's data collection, analysis, and collaboration efforts. This includes assisting with transition from the current stand-alone system to the client's cloud environment, which involves data and application migration as well as Operations and Maintenance (O&M). Responsibilities . The employee shall identify, document, and communicate risks and mitigations across the designed systems. . The employee shall review new and existing systems to identify gaps and minimize overlaps between systems. . The employee shall analyze project needs for alternative solutions. . The employee shall identify needed layers and modules and how they work together for the system. . The employee shall review program strategies and plans. . The employee shall design, install, manage, and maintain Windows servers, SCCM, VMWare and the Client's VM environment. . The employee shall design, install, manage, and maintain system software and related infrastructure to include the client's Active Directory environment. . The employee shall manage the operating system lifecycle (to include operating system upgrades, updates, patches, and configuration changes). . The employee shall provide insight and assistance to business model transformation and direction toward business services. . The employee shall analyze current business needs, capabilities, skills and tools. . The employee shall provide subject matter expertise to consolidate resources, promote knowledge share and supplement non-core capabilities with enterprise service offerings. Job Requirements: Qualifications . Demonstrated experience with in-depth knowledge of server hardware and software technologies. . Demonstrated 5+ years of technical leadership. . Demonstrated experience developing with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, etc. . Demonstrate experience in Service Management, Business Process Engineering, addressing, and initiating Policy and Culture Change. . Demonstrated experience collecting and defining technical requirements to enable process integrations. . Demonstrated experience of the TCP/IP stack and basic networking. . Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining documentation for all work done. . Demonstrated experience communicating written and verbal information to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners. . Demonstrated experience with system administration and networking, including Linux, UNIX, and Windows administration. . Demonstrated experience with VMware technologies. Desired Qualifications . Bachelors' degree in computer networking, computer science, computer engineering, or other closely related IT discipline or equivalent work experience. . Demonstrated experience as a Systems Architect or Cloud Developer certification. . Demonstrated experience administrating or managing Windows 10, Linux Desktop (any flavor), and Windows Server 2016+. . Demonstrated experience working with VMware ESXi, Workspace1, NSX, and Horizon. . Demonstrated experience with the DevOps cycle and using common DevOps tools.
