Ref ID: 02000- 475 Classification: Accounting Clerk Compensation: $17.41 to $20.16 hourly Accountemps is looking to hire a Bilingual (Spanish) Accounting Clerk, whose duties will be matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a short-term temporary-to-full-time position located in the Windsor Mill, Maryland area. Do you enjoy being part of a team-oriented environment? What you get to do every single day - General accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects - Put together statements and reports that require utilization of a variety of sources - Code documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes - Assist Accounts Payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing - Resolve discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required - Post financial information to journals and ledgers - Assist Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance Job Requirements: - Bilingual (Spanish) is required - Basic Bookkeeping experience - Foundational knowledge in Enter Invoices - Filing experience - Billing Collection experience preferred - Comprehensive knowledge of billing - Well-founded grasp of QuickBooks - Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request - Qualified in Spreadsheet and ERP system - Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy Accountemps, a Robert Half Company, matches skilled accounting and finance professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary and temporary-to-hire basis.
