The Opportunity Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a Retail Assistant Manager to join our team at Loft Mountain in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. As an Assistant Retail Manager at Loft Mountain, you will contribute to the growth and profitability of the business with management oversight for the day-to-day operations. Housing is available. Responsibilities Supports management in overseeing retail stores, portable locations, warehouse operations, retail sales, and retail associates. Manage implementation of retail programs for stores to meet corporate standards and achieve inventory and revenue goals. Participate in product development. Provide support and direction to retail supervisors on implementation and company policies and procedures and ensure proper follow-through. Manage in-store merchandising and display to ensure maximum visual impact and revenue generation. Monitor in-stock position of approved merchandise programs and inventory control at store level to ensure procedural and policy compliance. Adhere to company directives on physical inventory and reporting. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications At least three years' supervisory experience. Knowledge of merchandising techniques and retail operations, policies, and procedures. Ability to train and develop team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel. Effective communication and organizational skills. 1-3 years retail operations management experience preferred, grocery highly preferred. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, bending, lifting, walking. Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds.
