Responsibilities

As a Prog Mgr (Facilities), GS-14 you will perform the following duties:
  • Providing oversight, management advice and supervision on all space management, interior design/furniture selection, and space leasing through Government Services Administration (GSA);
  • Overseeing the ongoing operations for ICE's planning, design and construction program for the National Capital Region (NCR);
  • Managing of all the portfolios and projects and develops and implements policies, regulations, procedures, and all related guidelines;
  • Providing customer service for executives at Headquarters (HQ);
  • Serves as advisor to other members of the National Capitol Region (NCR) team, the customers/program managers of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Enforcement and Removal Office (ERO), Office of Principal Legal Advisor (OPLA), Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) and Management and Administration (M&A) concerning the preparation of design & construction documents for their NCR projects.

Qualifications

You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
  • Provides updates and necessary communication to senior executives, senior GSA staff, and contracting officers;
  • Participating in key decision-making sessions conducted by management and provide input into decisions affecting programs within the incumbent's preview;
  • Evaluating and adopting new materials, designs, and construction techniques, which will enhance the efficiency and economy of construction and maintenance and meet changing requirements; and
  • Reviewing plans, specifications, estimates, layouts and furniture, fixtures & equipment submitted Architecture/Engineering consultants, and interior designers, to ensure compliance with customer requirements.

Local Commuting Restriction: This announcement is subject to Local Commuting Restrictions as defined in 5 CFR §330.101 . For this announcement, the Local Commuting area is 50 miles from the announced duty station.
