We currently have an excellent opportunity for a motivated Payroll Manager to join our growing organization. The Payroll Manager performs and supervises all activities to process weekly payrolls, ensuring timely and accurate processing and customer service. The primary responsibilities of the Payroll Manager include, but are not limited to: Ensures accuracy and efficiency of payrolls, levels of customer service, data integrity, and calculating special payments (incentives and bonuses). Coordinates benefit payments and reporting to various locals for bargaining unit employees. Oversees payroll staff including hiring, training, reviews, attendance, vacation schedules and discipline Performs routine audits of all HR data, ensuring accuracy and integrity in all data targeted for both internal and external sources. Interprets and implements company policies affecting payroll procedures. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum five (5) years of payroll processing experience with two (2) years of experience in a management role. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred. Successful candidate will possess: Strong knowledge and experience in payroll and reporting preferred. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Ability to work well and effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization and external customers. Strong organization skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively. Ability to work independently as well as work as part of a team when required. Ability to express a professional image and positive attitude. Strong document management skills. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of privileged, confidential and/or sensitive matters.
