Serves as a trusted business partner, providing a broad range of HR services to the assigned leadership teams to proactively translate the group's business needs into HR solutions that best enable the team to meet its objectives. Develops talent and workforce plans, advises on organizational development needs, and proactively addresses human capital needs.Core ResponsibilitiesWorks with business unit leadership teams to provide HR advice, counsel, and coaching. Recommends, designs, and facilitates implementation of HR business solutions that are aligned with the company's strategic direction.Leads culture and engagement in assigned business units, ensuring effective implementation of communication plans that increase employee engagement, and fostering an 'open door' culture. Serves as a liaison between teammates and company Leadership;Acts as the focal point to initiate, oversee, and participate in the delivery of HR services (employee relations, compensation administration, performance management, change management, talent management, decision support, etc.) for assigned business units. Coordinates with HR peers and support functions to deliver consistent services across businesses and the organization.Leverages meaningful business data and analytics to support business units. Reviews dashboard information and makes recommendations to management and leadership for continuous improvement. Generates, analyzes, and presents HR metrics reporting to management.Collaborates with management and Talent team to drive workforce planning initiatives within designated teams.Conducts gap analyses and collaborates with Learning & Development team to ensure career development programs and initiatives are aligned with critical skill development and succession planning for assigned business units.Completes staffing analysis for assigned business units, ensuring the right teammates are in the right place at the right time. Monitors turnover and temporary labor, ensuring that the most efficient and cost-effective resources are being utilized.Oversees Performance Management and feedback processes, focusing on developing manager capability on employing these processes and obtaining best in class results. Delivers talent management processes that are aligned with corporate strategy.Provides proactive guidance and counsel to managers and teammates on teammate relations issues.Works with business unit leadership teams to introduce, lead, and influence change management initiatives with management staff, driving change and enhance overall business unit performance.Adapts and promotes best in class practices, fosters collaboration across regions and sites, ensures smooth implementations of HR/OD solutions, and builds the overall capability of the organization.Performs additional duties as directed.Qualifying ExperienceBachelor's Degree; Master's Degree preferred7 or more years of related experience (HR Business Partner/Generalist, HR Center of Excellence, etc.)2 or more years of HR Business Partner experience supporting senior leadership teams/C-suite executivesSHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR certifications preferredOr any combination of education and experience to meet the above requirementsCorporate HR Experience in leadership, talent, planning, communication, organization design and or change managementCorporate exposure to merger & acquisition, high growth, divesture or start upExceptional influencing skills and ability to work effectively in a matrix environmentAbility to effectively coach all levels in the organizationThrives in a fast paced complex environmentAbility to travel up to 25% as neededWe also invite you to connect with the Recruiter via LinkedIn. #LI-AVBOwens & Minor is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
