High School / GED Centra Medical Group Practice Administrator The Centra Medical Group (CMG) Practice Administrator independently oversees and provides on-site administrative operational oversight to a complex practice (with ten or more providers) and/or multiple medical practice sites. This position provides comprehensive support to the practices through a triad model at both individual practice level and the regional level. The triad model includes the Operational Leader, Nurse Clinical Coordinator, and Lead Physician. The CMG Practice Administrator position provides operational management to all staff at the assigned practice(s), is responsible for accounts payable/accounts receivable, revenue enhancement, marketing, staff development and training, team engagement, performance improvement, and overall business operations. This position acts as a role model and drives Centra's mission, vision, values, and standards of behavior. High School diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, healthcare, communications, or other related field is preferred. At least two years of a combination of experience leading projects and partnering with multiple stakeholders, and/or supervising a team of at least five employees. At least three years of experience providing customer service, building strong customer relationships to deliver customer-centric solutions, and managing conflict to find effective resolutions. At least one year of experience with overseeing business operations and finance; Top candidates will have business insight, the ability to apply knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organizations goals. Demonstrated skills using hardware, fax machine, copy machines, telephones, and software tools such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook or other email program, and/or database programs. Ability to instill trust by gaining the confidence of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, providing a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences, encouraging open expression of diverse ideas and opinions, and adjusting style to fit both the audience and the message. This position requires travel throughout central and south Virginia for meetings and training events. Experience in an out-patient healthcare setting is preferred. Experience using Cerner, patient health records system, is preferred. CMPE (Certified Medical Practice Executive) is preferred.
