Job Description: The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for achieving sales objectives, typically from new clients. The AE will identify marketplace opportunities, prospect and engage new clients, assist on technical demonstrations, develop proposals, and manage the contract process. The AE will generate new revenue by selling our core cybersecurity services as a business solution. The AE is actively involved in the management, retention, and growth of our current customer base. We are looking for someone who wants to help us grow for the long term. We are serious about customer service and we expect you to be as well; we consider our customers as customers for life. Previous sales experience (IT/cybersecurity sales is a plus). Ability to develop and manage customer relationships. Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, and sales acumen. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated sales record of consistently meeting and exceeding quota. Job Requirements: Responsibilities: Meet or exceed assigned sales objectives and monthly revenue quotas by hunting to identify new business opportunities within a sales territory and target market segment of small/medium, mid-market, and enterprise companies. Understand client goals, initiatives, challenges and relate them to Blue Star Cyber resources and solutions. Establish and maintain customer relationships. Forecast accurately on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis. Develop innovative proposals and deliver strategic sales presentations. Gather information on the prospect s/customer s business processes, critical success factors, and competitive standing through a strategic and consultative sales approach to deliver value-added business solutions. Acquire and integrate industry knowledge related to general trends, emerging technologies, and competitors. Document all initial and on-going customer contacts in Salesforce. Other duties as assigned.
