Cordia Resources is seeking a REMOTE , Sales & Use Tax Senior Accountant to support a large Technology client in a temp-to-hire arrangement. In this role, the Sales & Use Tax Senior Accountant will prepare monthly tax compliance, including analyzing general ledger to monthly reporting and filling out necessary sales and use tax forms. Sales & Use Tax Senior Accountant Responsibilities Analyze data to determine reasonableness Prepare month-end GL account reconciliations and necessary journal entries for multiple tax related accounts and numerous taxes/fees Assist with state and local tax regulation compliance through an understanding of the reported information Interact with taxing authority inquiries and auditors Perform research with respect to tax notices and responses as necessary Update tax-exemptions in our system Work on special tax projects with varying levels of involvement and responsibility Prepare other various tax filings Sales & Use Tax Senior Accountant Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting; or Bachelor's degree in Finance with 5+ years of general accounting experience Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with ability to create complex spreadsheets using formulas, including v-lookup and pivot tables Ability to multitask Excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail Highly organized 14070870PandoLogic.
