We are seeking a Staff Enterprise Architect of Cloud Assessments and Solutions Engineering Team to support the HQDA CIO G6 Enterprise Cloud Management Office (ECMO) with development of the Army Cloud based on a hybrid, multi-cloud solution focused on moving the Army to its objective state of convergence. In this role, you will support the assessments engineering team and the Army mission area enablement teams in the development of concepts, requirements and the capabilities for the cloud and cybersecurity architecture, engineering and operations services.As the program Senior Architect, you ensure cloud implementation is in regulatory compliance with TOGAF and DODAF standards using comprehensive assessments.Provide technical leadership and direction in implementing hybrid cloud solution.Be responsible for leading and engaging in information/data management projects including the Enterprise Information Architecture, information models and flows, data dictionaries, data standards, and data quality standards and processes.Develop and maintain the logical Enterprise Information Architecture that enables seamless information interoperability of systems from transaction systems, document management systems and information delivery systems.To successful you will have:Proven experience developing information architectures aligned information lifecycle management.Proven experience performing conceptual, logical and physical data modeling with data modeling tools and database design in complex, large-scale data environments. Proven experience in transactional data modeling, dimensional modeling and object oriented modeling.Proven experience in developing scalable design of entities using advanced data structures (eg, tall tables) is a plus.Experience in developing data models that support, inter alia, time dependency, historical tracings, taxonomies (simple and complex), and multilingual data.Knowledge of application modeling languages/techniques (eg, UML, OML, entity relationship modeling, DFDs) including the ability to create and read the associated diagrams.Proven experience creating enterprise models incorporating master and reference data.Experience in creation of data dictionaries, defining metadata management approaches and governance processes.Experience in developing and implementing IT architecture plans, Enterprise Information Architecture standard and guidelines, software development methodologies and strategic plans.Experience in developing data sharing standards and architecting scalable service oriented solutions.Solid understanding of transaction and information systems, data warehouses, data marts, ODS, MDM methodologies and life cycle as well as ETL and MDM technologies.Basic Qualifications:Bachelors degree and a minimum of 18 years experience, Master''s degree and a minimum 16 years experience, or PhD and a minimum of 12 years experience.Must possess expertise with government architecture frameworks such as the TOGAF, Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA), DoDAF and Business Process Model and Notation.Must possess senior level experience with Enterprise Architecture (EA), facilitating senior stakeholder meetings and technical working sessions related to Enterprise Architecture, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to collect data and conduct EA and GAP analyses.Demonstrated senior level experience supporting architecture development and maintenance, portfolio management, and acquisition management to support cloud development.Requires:(1) TOGAF and/or FEA certification with associated DOD/Army experience or(2) DODAF certification with associated DOD/Army experienceRequires active IAT Level II DoD 8570 certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP)Must possess an active Secret Clearance.
