Our software development teams support a wide range of systems and programs using DevOps and Agile best practices.As a Cyber Software Engineer in a DevOps environment you will develop, maintain and enhance large Cloud based systems, create and support end-to-end automated CI/CD pipelines and use a variety of monitoring tools. Work may be done independently or as part of a team. Full Software Development Life Cycle and Agile best practices are followed with an emphasis on automated testing, detailed documentation and security compliance. Primary development will be in Java with additional skills needed as required.Description of Work: Experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Experience with Java to include code creation, bug fixes, and enhancements, as well as installation, monitoring, and configuration programs and scripts Experience with Spring (Understanding of dependency injection is required, experience with Spring MVC and other Spring features are a plus) Experience developing RESTFUL web services Experience with JPA or Hibernate Experience in requirements gathering, assessing, vetting, and migration into design, architecture, features. Software development, testing, installation, configuration, and upgrading An active participant in design sessionsBasic Qualifications:Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed: 7 years of experience as a software engineer Experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Experience leveraging the technology stack of JAVA, Spring, MongDB or equivalent, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Maven, RESTful Web Services to develop effective and efficient user interfaces.Preferred Qualifications:Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.
