For more information, please visit our website at LSSMD.com Position Objective: With a thorough understanding of all product benefits and services LS Systems can offer to customers, strong negotiating skills, and exceptional customer service, the Sales Support Representative will cultivate and build long term key customer relationships, primarily by providing post-inspection services. This role collaborates with the team to increase sales opportunities and maximize revenue in alignment with LS Systems' long-term strategic goals and manage and grow relationships within the service sales department. Duties and Responsibilities: Customer Support: Serve as primary point of contact for inspection related questions including questions regarding delivered proposals. Proactively communicate test & inspection related concerns with assigned customers Sales: Review all assigned inspection reports and accurately identify outstanding items requiring correction. Create and deliver all inspection proposals within (5) days of opportunity creation date that satisfies the following criteria: Accurate scope relevant to proposed deficiencies to be corrected. Accurate estimating based on materials needed and labor associated with repairs. Profitable pricing maintaining an average of 10% net profit. Conduct periodic surveys to support proposal generation. Develop and maintain an active proposal pipeline that will support achieving the assigned sales goal for the respected period. Follow up on deficiency proposals. Create accurate technician requests upon a proposal award. Perform customer agreement renewals as needed for test & inspection and monitoring. Manage any assigned personal accounts while increasing sales of those respective accounts. Teamwork: Volunteer as needed to process inbound leads and opportunities. Support the Service and Inspection Department towards achieving customer excellence, as well as with other Departments to generate leads for service, equipment, or system upgrades. Collaborate with other members of LSS sales team as needed. The successful candidate will have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. Must be independent and self-motivated with a solid history of decision making, taking accountability, demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles to success. Must be capable of taking on a task with minimal instruction and exceeding expectations with strong follow up skills and attention to detail. Must be flexible and adaptable to a fast paced environment and changing priorities. Qualifications: HS Diploma required. BA or BS preferred 1 year outside sales experience, construction industry experience a plus Experience with Salesforce Lightning CRM strongly preferred. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Apps for Business required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to develop a functional proficiency with Salesforce Lightning CRM Maintain correct and complete records of all sales related activities Functional proficiency of Google Apps for Business Functional understanding of test & inspection code requirements and procedures. Functional Knowledge of fire alarm, sprinkler, security and nurse call systems. Must be willing to complete the following NICET programs at the request of LS Systems: *Inspection and testing of Fire Alarm Systems *Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This moderately active role which requires the ability to manage the sedentary nature of office work as well as the ability to walk, stoop, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, walk steps, use ladders and lift up to 25 lbs and function in extreme temperatures representative of the field job sites.
