Responsibilities

As a IT Specialist, you will:
  • Provide Systems Design, Analysis and Testing in support of development of the Healthcare Electronic Health Records (HEHR) System registration portal operation and development
  • Develop code for survey data processing including establishing microservices to bring more automation to survey processes for increased operational efficiency
  • Perform database management and design along with data integrity, data security and privacy compliance enforcement
  • Initiate and manage change requests for database and system changes
  • Contractor deliverables review and approval

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 in the Federal service as defined in the next paragraph.

Specialized experience is experience which is directly related to the position which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position to include experience using a variety of databases and software applications such as Java, SQL, XML and microservices in the analysis and maintenance of public health care data and databases and I have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication and Problem Solving.

Or
A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or three (3) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree from an accredited or pre-accredited institution.

Or

I have a combination of specialized experience and graduate education as described above that together meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.
