Strong overall technical skills, while also having excellent customer service skills and superior organizational and prioritization management skills. This is a position that is focused on using a strong technical background to be able to interface with customers and be capable of taking customer needs and translating them into technical requirements. Candidate will work closely with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, Technical Lead, and Development team to gather and manage requirements. Experience and Skills Required Skills/Roles + Conduct consultative meetings with customers to understand their business processes and needs to translate them into technical requirements + Read through customer documentation + Document and track requirements + Using a strong understanding of the products and tool stack, consult with and guide customers with best use of our products + Validate technical solutions against technical requirements + Collaborate with development teams + A motivated self-starting personality, able to work independently while maintaining patience with constant interruptions and multiple requests + Comfortable working with mission critical and sensitive systems, with a sense of urgency appropriate to the responsibilities Experience + A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology + Seven (7) years of extensive experience in technical business analysis in a related industry with a strong understanding of technical terminology + Advanced knowledge of SDLC + Advanced knowledge of infrastructure designs + Exceptional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders as well as project managers and developers + Advanced ability to consult with customers and translate customer needs into technical requirements + Advanced ability to use technical knowledge to understand our products and how our products can support customer needs Strong ability to understand customer documentation and verbal communication in order to provide guidance to customers in the use of Census Bureau products.(experienced with Jira, GitHub, Nexus, Harness, OpenShift, Jenkins, Contrast)
