Peraton's Civil and Health sector is seeking a Consulting Data Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Arlington, VA. The Consulting Data Architect shall be responsible for designing, creating, deploying, and managing the data architecture for the integrated solution. The Consulting Data Architect shall define how the data will be stored, consumed, integrated, and managed by different data entities and IT systems, as well as any applications using or processing that data. The Consulting Data Architect shall maintain the required Agile certification throughout the program's period of performance.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management or STEM related field and 20 years of relevant experience -OR- a Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management or STEM related field and 18 years of relevant experience -OR- a PhD in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management or STEM related field and 15 years of relevant experience.Possess an Agile certification from a recognized certification authority such as Scrum Alliance, Project Management Institute, ICAgile, etc.US Citizenship required in order to obtain a security clearance.Preferred Qualifications:Minimum of five years of experience designing and building relational databases, data warehouses, etc., and experience performing data analysis design, and archive/recovery design and implementation.Minimum of five years of experience developing strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database and presenting strategies to senior-level management.Experience defining, designing, and building dimensional databases and translating business needs into long-term architecture solutions.Experience working in a data warehouse/big data environment, which includes data design, database architecture, and metadata repository creation.Experience developing data warehousing blueprints, evaluating hardware and software platforms, and integrating systems.Experience reviewing and developing object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and faster access.Experience performing optimization of disparate data sources.
