Responsibilities The individual selected for this position will support the Sponsor's organization responsible for coordinating secure Internet capabilities for mission. This includes providing leadership, direction and contribution to a cyber security team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Working as an expert, conducts research and evaluates technical performance of software products and overall segments and systems Provide feedback to design engineers and evaluates end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through formal verification methods Ensure products and systems comply with requirements and government 1CD 503 and cyber security standards and practices through formal testing and control gates Verify/validate systems with specific emphasis on network operations and cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures focused on the threat to information networks. Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures Identify deficiencies/weaknesses discovered in internet systems and recommend corrective actions to address identified vulnerabilities and non-compliance of systems, including infrastructure Develop and maintain A&A documentation (SSP, Security Test Procedures, Security Controls Traceability Matrix, etc.) and conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance throughout implementation Provide inputs to or create PMO deliverables to include documentation, briefings, summary reports, status reports, cost and schedule estimates, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and pilots Prepares assessments and cyber threat profiles of current and planned products based on sophisticated testing, research, and analysis Participates in design reviews of components {hardware and software} to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures they verify/validate the requirements Develop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirements Produce high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for Government management and stakeholders Qualifications Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment Strong oral and written communications and interpersonal skills Experience working with Xacta 360 Experience working with scanning tools Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently; self-starter A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline. 15 years' experience or relevant experience, 3 years in IC Desired Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) Certification. Government Security Engineer Certification (GSEC) Certification. Salary Minimum: $113,651.20 Salary Maximum:$242,944.00 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Perspecta's total compensation package for employees.
