Description: Our client is looking for a helpdesk technician for a 3+ month contract. This person will be taking 15-20 calls daily. In this role. they will be perform troubleshooting, investigation, analysis and evaluation of day-to-day problems to resolve identified issues. Assist customers with security and application support for Microsoft Office applications, or problems related to any business applications. Also, this person will test, install and support new hardware devices and provide troubleshooting assistance and support around the phone system, network, routers, data/voice switches, etc. Assist with technical hardware matters on all supported devices and support for any hardware failures, phones issues, or general technical problems. You will Provide printer problem troubleshooting, and coordination of service dispatch as needed. Assist with configuration of LAN/WAN Equipment. Update and maintain hardware images and ensure images are routinely backed up and assist with new PC set up / configuration and shipping Create, modify and delete network user in Exchange, Active Directory and phone system as required. *Top Skills required:* 1. Helping to manage and track the new hardware acquired through the acquisition, this will be tracked in their internal ticketing system. Someone who has experience with managing asset inventory would be a nice to have. 2. Creating, adding and deleting users within Active Directory. 3. Troubleshooting issues as it relates to Windows 7, Office365, Outlook, VPN connectivity issues and the software applications. They will be moving to Windows 10 this year so someone who has exposure to working within Windows 10 would be great as well. About TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
