Resident Networking Engineer - 100 on site RELOCATION IS POSSIBLE - No travel allowance though CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT Active DoD TSSCI wPolygraph Polygraph needs to be Full Scope Poly Responsibilities and Requirements Full-time on-site position at a customer location in the ColumbiaFt. Meade area and requires a TSSCI wPolygraph Operations and maintenance of a data center network Deep understanding of routing and switching technologies commonly implemented in data center networks including EVPN, Multicast, OSPF, BGP, RSVP, LDP, Pseudo wires, L2VPN, L3VPN, MPLS Traffic Engineering (TE), Routing Policies, and associated tunneling technologies (GRE, VXLAN, etc.). TEG Client products to be supportedQFX, MX, EX, SRX Experience with SEINE Client's products a plus, but not a requirement Desired Qualifications Engineering DesignArchitecture, Operational, and Support experience in a medium to large scale data center network The Seine Client andor other vendor certifications a strong plus Automation and DevOps knowledge a plus Automation access methods XML API, NETCONF, REST API, gRPC Python tools RPCs, REST, PyEZ, ncclient Ansible Playbooks and Jinja2 templates Automation scripts Commit, Op, Event, or SNMP scripts Python and SLAX Ideal Strengths Motivation, a self-starter that can take direction but also identify and engage in areas to improve network design and operation Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills Ability to prioritize work activity to achieve customer and account team goals Ability to effectively work under pressure with customer engineers and JTAC to resolve hardware and software issues and implement solutions Ability to effectively troubleshoot equipment and network problems to opentrack JTAC cases through to problem resolution Ability to effectively communicate case status updates and deliver root cause analysis Support informal and formal technology briefings and training sessions ABOUT SEINE CLIENT The Seine Client is the leader in high-performance networking.
