Job Description HII-Technical Solutions Defense and Federal Solutions (DFS) group is currently seeking a Part-Time Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) Subject Matter Expert (SME) with the option to work remotely. As a SME for SE&I, you will develop advanced technological ideas and guide their development into a final product. You will be responsible for ensuring the development of proposal winning technical solutions, participating in internal research and development, and advising on technology trends supporting business strategy. The SME acts as an advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications in their expertise area. The successful candidate will be an acknowledged expert in SE&I and have demonstrated experience solving problems across a broad range of markets such as ISR, intelligence, cyber, IT, maintenance and sustainment, and product lifecycle support. Essential Job Responsibilities * Work closely with DFS stakeholders to determine the overall SE&I strategy and approach to align to the customer's objectives and requirements. * Establish DFS best practices, lessons learned, and technological approaches related to SE&I and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches. * Merges industry perspective with broad technical knowledge and mission understanding to generate value propositions and approaches to solve Government customer challenges. * Participate with teams of capture, proposal, and technical subject matter experts to develop an integrated, responsive and cost-effective solution in support of our proposal to meet our customer's requirements and maximize DFS's competitive advantage. * Personally model HII values of integrity, safety, honesty, engagement, responsibility, and performance. * This is a part-time role. Minimum Qualifications * Candidate should have 15 years of relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years of relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years of relevant experience with Ph.D. or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience * 5+ years of experience in developing successful technical solutions for large, complex SE&I opportunities/proposal submissions for the US Federal Government. * Demonstrated experience in developing and communicating complex architecture strategy, plans, roadmaps, and drawings to a variety of technical, management, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication of ideas and enable the customer's decision process. * Demonstrated experience in all aspects of the SE&I lifecycle; requirements definition, implementation, integration, test, verification, and operations. * Clearance- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance. Preferred Requirements * Demonstrated experience leading teams through the systems engineering lifecycle using in Model-Based Systems Engineering * Strong technical breadth and depth in support of the government markets and, in particular, in ISR, intelligence, cyber, IT, maintenance and sustainment, and product lifecycle support. * Active TOP SECRET clearance. SCI eligibility and/or CI/Poly is preferred.
