Staff Radar Systems Engineer
SEG is currently seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to support our customer in Dahlgreen, VA. Provide direct support to the PEO IWS 2.0 Technical Director / Systems Engineering & Integration (TD/SE&I) and SPY Program Managers and System Engineers Provide SME review of design documents particularly in the areas of EMI, clutter, and Surface Warfare. Provide and implement capability, development, test, certification, and fielding recommendations Liaise with all applicable stakeholders to develop, manage, update, and integrate system requirements Provide support in the execution of planned and emergent tasking, coordination and participation in technical and programmatic meetings. (eg Working Group meetings, Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR), test events, Chance Control Boards, etc.) Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other related technical degree. Active Department of (DoD) Secret clearance 15+ years of experience developing, implementing, and/or managing the design, testing, and analysis of Navy Systems, to include developing simulations, plans, and technical reports Radar modeling and simulation, radar performance analysis, Naval radar requirements development, and experience with clutter and environmental modeling. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS (eg Education, Certifications) Master s Degree in an Engineering discipline The ability to use tools to assess design and impact in areas of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and clutter.
