Job Description: GEICO a proven online and mobile industry leader -- seeks an experienced Mobile App Developer to join our growing team. You will be joining our fast-paced environment, working with a team of talented and passionate developers and designers, to deliver the award-winning apps to the App Store. Seeking highly motivated developer with excellent technical skills to assist in developing iOS apps. Must have a strong desire, and commitment to learn new technologies quickly, demonstrated full life cycle experience analyzing, developing and maintaining applications in a dynamic environment. Must be a good team player but also able to work independently. Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and a strong demonstrated interest in mobile is highly desired. Required Candidate Qualifications: *BA/BS in Computer Science or related field * 3+ years' experience building native iPhone / iPad applications with at least 1 application in the Apple App Store * 4+ years' experience building enterprise Java or .NET applications * Demonstrated ability developing with Objective-C, Swift, iOS SDK, and Xcode * Experience with web services, JSON and XML * Familiarity with agile software development * Understanding of recommended design patterns and architectures * Proven ability to mentor junior developers and conduct design and code reviews Desired Qualifications: * Experience with Apple's iOS Human Interface Guidelines * Experience with HTML5, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS* Passionate about bringing the best UX experience for app users Note: The safety of our associates, both current and future, is GEICO's highest priority. Candidates who are selected for this position will be trained remotely and must be able to work from home in a designated work area.
