Enterprise IT/ITSM Solution Architect
Description Job Description:Leidos Civil Group has an immediate opening for an Enterprise IT/ITSM Solution Architect to join our IT Modernization team in support of our federal civil customers. In this role, you willA' help our customers solve their most demanding challenges via technology, modernization, and transformation processes, and proven methods and solutions.A' As a Solution Architect, you will work hand-in-hand with business development, capture management, line management, research and development, and other subject matter experts to develop optimal and differentiated Leidos solutions to be delivered in proposals, on programs, or on research and development projects.A' In addition to developing solutions, you will help prospective customers and partners understand the value and benefits of the Leidos solution, explain technical features and transformation strategies, engage in proof of concepts, and troubleshoot potential problems. The successful candidate will lead all ITSM initiatives including AoA, trade studies, implementations, platform upgrades, enhancement requests, defect resolution, and project coordination. In-depth knowledge of ServiceNOW and other ITSM platforms is essential. The Architect will manage the Leidos Managed Service Provider (MSP) offering by assigning and prioritizing work, conducting end-user engagement for testing efforts, building requirements, reporting on KPIs for overall performance, and establishing current and future initiatives and process goals. This role requires perpetual learning on the ServiceNOW platform and acting as the subject matter expert for maintaining an up-to-date, efficient platform capable of facilitating all the current and future needs of the business. The Architect will also drive Continual Service Improvement (CSI) activities for proposal and program opportunities.Primary ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the IT Service Management system (eg, ServiceNow) suite implementation, upgrade, enhancement and processesManage all ITSM platform efforts and liaise across all teams on development and administration. Work with the business stakeholders, developers, and admins to ensure all goals are met.Act as a subject matter expert for the ITSM platform and the various integrations into and out of the platform to other data sources and applicationsWork with internal and external partners ensuring that the current and future service level requirements of customers are identified, understood and documented in SLA documentsManage and maintain the service catalog, including the surrounding processes and workflows for accurate updatesManage and maintain knowledge management articlesCoordinate application and platform upgrades, while ensuring latest releases are implemented in a timely manner with minimal or no disruption to IT operationsProduce reports and dashboards based on defined measures, metrics and key performance indicators Basic Qualifications & SkillsMinimum 5 years of demonstrated experience managing the implementation and operation of ITSM processes aligned with ITIL frameworkUnderstanding of key ITSM processes to ensure that they are consistently deployed, executed, and continuously improved in alignment with business requirementsExperience leading complex IT infrastructure consolidation and modernization efforts to achieve standardized, consistent and repeatable processes for delivery of IT services across a large agency enterprise, and optimized use of shared resourcesExperience in planning and implementing managed servicesExperience effectively communicating at senior levels within a customer organization and meeting with stakeholders to formulate, review, and execute task plans and deliverable items.Experience applying the ITIL framework and best practicesStrong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with customer representatives, domain experts, systems engineers and architectsSelf-motivated desire to learn new programming languages, tools, frameworks and skills Additional Skills & Certifications (optional)Experience and domain knowledge related to data processingA' Active PMI PMP certificationExperience with Service Desk support and operationsITIL v3 Foundation CertificationITIL Continued Service Improvement Certification EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: A' Requires BS degree and 12 - 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 - 13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
