Will act as a recruiting business partner working closely with hiring managers to understand the needs of the business and characteristics and skillsets of the positions they recruit for. Manages the full lifecycle of recruiting for corporate exempt and senior level positions. This role largely supports hiring managers located at our corporate headquarters in Mechanicville, VA and therefore will need to be located or able to relocate to the greater Richmond area. Core Responsibilities Recruits for and maintains ongoing talent pipelines for corporate exempt positions, particularly for Manager to VP level rolesDevelops and maintains effective relationships with all levels of company management to ensure staffing needs are effectively assessed and requirements are met.Ensures recruitment and employment activities are in compliance with government regulations and organization policies and procedures.Develops new sources, screening and recruiting techniques, tools, etc. that build our image as a professional recruiting team and enhance our ability to hire the best candidates in a cost effective and timely manner.Develops a diverse recruiting strategy to ensure Owens & Minor is attracting and retaining the best management team available.Manages the recruiting process to include relationships with networking, targeted recruiting, alternative media notices and any other channels of communication.Work closely with management team to develop creative recruiting strategies to attract high level candidates while maintaining low cost per hire in an increasingly competitive market.Searches for and identifies candidates for highly specialized and difficult-to-attract positions while actively advocating diversity recruitment.
