Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group, in partnership with its client, an international development management consulting firm is searching for a professional Sr. Pricing Specialist. The Manager will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and supporting cost proposals to government and commercial customers. The ideal candidate will have experience and understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).   • Develop financial models to support cost/price proposals and management decision making
  • Review and analyze market trends to develop models and provide insight on impact of price changes on growth rates and profitability
  • Lead large pricing proposals; compile elements to be used in the development of cost/price proposals in accordance with solicitation
  • Participate in development of a pricing strategy/approach responding to various type of competition.
  • Identify risks, trends and deviations in solicitation requirements, to help ensure overall compliance
  • Work on complex projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors
  • Interface with management and other functions, including, Business Development, Proposals, Operations, Contracts and Finance
  • Maintain cost proposal-related records and databases

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field required
  • 5+ years of experience of pricing and cost proposals and solicitation development; supervisory experience required
  • Prior experience with government contracts and compliance; knowledge of FAR, AIDAR, ADS, DSSR and CFR
  • Experience working on Multiple Award Schedule (GSA), IDIQ, and TOs under an IDIQ
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Solid communication skills with the ability to communicate with teams or present recommendations for process improvement
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex reports; ability to multi-task
