As a Senior IT Specialist (Project Manager), you will analyze, plan, direct, manage, coordinate, review, monitor, test and be responsible for the Strategic Acquisition System (STAQS) and NRC Enterprise Acquisition Tool (NEAT) operations and maintenance. You will serve as an authoritative expert and consultant for assessing project and program requirements in support of STAQS changes, development, and testing to include the STAQS interface with the NRC's Financial Accounting and Integrated Management Information System (FAIMIS).

You will also recommend or determine scope and level of effort to be undertaken in relation to STAQS upgrades, releases, and patches, including interfaces. You will also support the STAQS/NEAT Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in all Cybersecurity deliverables. Additionally, you will perform contract oversight for Interagency Agreements and commercial contracts, and serve as a Contract Officer Representative (COR) for several contracts. You will support the budget planning and execution for STAQS and NEAT in collaboration with the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), and the Program Management, Announcements and Editing (PMAE) within ADM.

In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level (GG-13) in the Federal Service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as experience which includes: project management; planning, implementation, operations, and maintenance of large enterprise-wide systems; advanced knowledge of STAQS and FAIMIS; and writing technical or policy materials in the IT field such as assessments, white papers, policy directives, procedure manuals, and user guides for the application of configuring system interfaces.
