Summary

About the Position: Serves as a Lead Supply Systems Analyst. Ensures that the organization's strategic
plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the
team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans, and work products and services.

This position is subject to organizational compensation limits as identified in the organization's AcqDemo business rules or separate compensation management strategy policy.

Responsibilities

  • Integrates the organization?s strategic plan, mission and vision into the team?s work products and services.
  • Establishes Material Requirements Planning (MRP) functional processes, systems requirements, and policy.
  • Reviews user Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) functional requirements to recommend systemic improvements.
  • Serves as senior functional user representative to the assigned functional Configuration Control Board (CCB) or related Business Process Group.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as:( 1) Utilizing the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) to conduct sales order processing; (2) Identifying and validating LMP system requirements; (3) identifying ERP systems issues (4) Resolving LMP systemic issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-02.

Under the Defense Authorization Act, personnel management demonstration programs are operating in numerous Army activities and various other organizations supported by Army civilian personnel centers. Under the streamlined personnel operations for demonstration projects, the familiar 15 General Schedule grade structure is replaced with broad pay bands that typically encompass a range of grades. For example, acquisition jobs in level NH-III of broad banding encompass the traditional GS-12 through GS-13 grades. Other initiatives under the demonstration projects include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process, and expanded developmental opportunities.
