Contracts Receivable Analyst - Room to Grow!About the Company and Opportunity:Our client is an exciting nonprofit formed over 100 years ago!Due to growth, they are hiring a Contracts Receivable Analyst in their DC location. Also tolerant and welcoming.'Overview of the Contracts Receivable Analyst role:Understand the relevant terms for the contracts and grants within the assigned portfolio.Prepare timely and accurate invoices for a wide range of contracts and grants from federal, state, local, and private sponsors.Monitor and maintain the health of contracts receivables within the assigned portfolio and work with staff, sponsors, and program unit to resolve collection issues; escalates issues to supervisor as needed.Reconcile and analyze revenue and unbilled amounts on a monthly basis.Prepare timely and accurate sponsor financial report as needed.Provide financial analysis and support for contract closeout.Analyzing complex billing chargesPreferred Qualifications for the Contracts Receivable Analyst:Mid-level depth of federal contracting experience with respect to billingDemonstrated proficiency in ExcelTwo years of related professional experience in government contract invoicing and collections.Experience with PeopleSoft Financials billing, accounts receivable, and project costing preferred.Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent knowledge
