Alion is currently seeking a Senior DevOps/QA Engineer. The ideal candidate believes in exploring alternatives and quickly prototyping to validate hypothetical architectures or solutionsA' In this position, you will: Significantly contribute to the development, deployment, and maintenance of an enterprise cloud architecture for use in as a real-time analytics platform.A' Work with cloud team and application teams to test system integrity. Work with development teams to develop and maintain test cases for our software products. Apply experience working within an Agile software development life cycle, including sprint planning, sprints, sprint review, etcA' Required Skills: BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or similar.A' In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted for applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience. 5-7 years of experience as a DevOps/QA Engineer. At least 2 years with AWS cloud technologies with emphasis on testing and reporting automation. Experience automating cloud configuration using tooling such as Terraform, AWS Config, Ansible, etc. Experience with code build and code pipeline tools for CICD. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Desired Skills: AWS Certification is highly desired (Associate, Professional, and/or Specialty levels). Understanding of AGILE software development methodologies and use of standard software development tool suites. (eg, JIRA, Confluence, Github Enterprise, etc.) A' Security Clearance: None
