If you are interested in applying, please send your resume to Alex Prisinzano at aprisinzano@ Job Title:A' Sr. IT Administrator Location: College Park, MD Contract: Direct-Hire Clearance: Fully adjudicated Secret Clearance required (Can hold up to TS) Required Certifications: DOD IAT Level II or higher, (eg CompTIA Security +) Experience: BS/BA; Minimum 3 A' years Network Administration, 3 A' years System Administration, 2-3 A' years in servicedesk or IT support, 7-10 A' years related experience Job Description: The IT Administrator (IT) function is responsible for providing on-site IT support for the unclassified and classified administrative network at The FORGE and, initially, will have FSO duties as well. FSO training will be provided. This position will be filled by a full-time IT professional on-site in Maryland (MD) with reach back support from Colorado Springs, CO (COS). The IT professional will be responsible for helping set up our new systems, configuring computers and devices for the administrative network.A' Will support customer team with appropriate security protocols, software, user permissions, network configurations, etc., as well as Tier I servicedesk duties.A' The intention for this role is to establish and implement procedures and systems in place that run smoothly.A' The IT professional will be establishing, operating, and maintaining the IT infrastructure at The FORGE which is projected to grow into a second building (on the same campus) in 2022.A' It is the IT Administrator's job to ensure and maintain continuity of operations in both of these locations. Qualifications and Skills: Ensure seamless operation of systems by performing necessary upgrades and repairs and implementing standard operating procedures Train and direct users on correct usage of company hardware and software Track and complete IT tickets to assist users in problem solving and troubleshooting system, network, and application errors Automated installation methods and system imaging Support for application installation, licenses management, software tracking/distribution and backup/recovery of system configurations and user data files. Perform typical SA functions such as configure file systems and file system attributes, permissions, encryption, access control lists, and network file systems with support of Colorado based Network admin. Deploy, configure, and maintain systems, including software installation, update, patching, and core services. Manage users and groups, including use of a centralized directory (AD/IPA/LDAP) for authentication Provide technical expertise at supervisor and management meetings, which may include necessary planning and scheduling of meetings. Configuring system logging (including remote logging) Configuring a system to provide networking services, including HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SMTP, SSH and NTP. Provide systems administration for all clients, servers, and peripherals connected to the classified and unclassified networks. Lockdown/harden Windows Server 2012, Windows 10, RHEL (6,7), and MacOS. Automate deployment and configuration of for deployment to AWS via Ansible and Terraform.
