Description JOB DESCRIPTION: We have an immediate opening for a Test EngineerA' to support a software systems engineering effort focused on software and associated product development.A' Assesses software quality through testing. Has experience with development and implementation of test plans, procedures, traceability matrices, and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions. Has experience performing functional regression, integration, validation, compliance testing, and analyzing results. Must be able to write discrepancy reports to verify/validate software fixes. Experienced with Jira and Confluence. Automated testing experience desired but not required. Experience testing browser based applications for accessibility preferred. Must have strong communication and time management skills.A' Shall be proficient in the development and implementation of test strategies, plans, traceability matrices, procedures, and reports.Shall have experience with automated test methods and automated test tools.Shall have a minimum of three (3) years of requirements analysis experience and in particular must be fully trained or have experience in the testing of systems at the component, integration, system, and end-to-end levels.Shall have experience in writing test cases and writing discrepancy reports.Shall have experience in basic UNIX, DOS, and Windows commands and basic understanding of capturing snapshots.Qualifications TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Candidates must have at least 5 years experience as a TE and a Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline.A' A' Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.A' Four (4) years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.Master's degree can be substituted for two (2) years experienceTS/SCI w/ polygraph We cannot accept CCA candidates for these positions, and polygraphs must have been completed within the last seven years.Desird QualificationsDesired technical skills include experience with:- Writing test cases- Testing to include data verification (eg, with PGAdmin)- Testing in an Agile development environment Overview SAIC is a premier technology integrator solving our nation's modernization and readiness challenges.
