Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supervising and outlining policies, program requirements, objectives, or resource limitations.
  • Develops, promulgates, or interprets DOD/DA/PEO and PM policy or guidance.
  • Analyzes, balances, or reconciles program requirements with available resources.
  • Performs the full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties.

  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
  • This position requires a 3-year tenure agreement. Must sign DD Form 2888 (Critical Acquisition Position Service Agreement) and execute, as a condition of employment, a written tenure agreement.
  • Unless waived by the appropriate Army official, or if the employee is Grandfathered under 10 U.S.C. 1736 (c) (1), Selectee must be an Acquisition Corps (AC) member at the time of permanent selection for the position or have been granted a waiver.
  • Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Level III in Acquisition Career Field Business- (A) Program Management within 24 months of entrance on duty.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

ARDAP Mission Statement: Provide common integrated data and application serve enabling cohesive business solutions for the total Army. Facilitate convergence of redundant, misaligned, or ineffective components of the Army Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) sys landscape.

About the Position: This announcement may be used to fill a "virtual" NH-0301-04 position located with Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS).

*NOTE: Fort Belvoir, Virginia is the preferred duty location. Location negotiable after selection for highly qualified applicants.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Experience Required:
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience at the NH-03 (GS-13 or equivalent) level in the Federal Service that includes the ability to: 1) Perform analysis in various areas such as program funding, manpower resources, program level cost analysis and program objective management in support of an organization's program requirements; 2) Utilize office automation tools including Microsoft Excel to track budget functions involving the formulation, justification and/or execution of budgets; and 3) Brief management of programmatic issues and supply solutions to maintain the efficiency of program operations.

  • The Supervisory Development Course (SDC) must be completed within one year of placement into the position. The Foundation Course (FC) is required for all supervisors and managers hired after 30 September 2006. The Basic Course (BC) must be completed within one year of placement into the position. The Intermediate Course (IC) must be completed within two years after placement into the position. The Advanced Course (AC) must be completed within two years after placement into the position.   • Army Acquisition Corp (AAC) membership is required prior to appointment to a Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). Information on AAC membership may be found at http://asc.army.mil/ . Individuals with questions may contact an Acquisition Career Manager (ACM) for assistance.
  • Selectees must sign an AAC written tenure agreement to remain in the Federal service in this position for at least three (3) years.
