The Payments Systems Compliance Specialist will report to the Payment Systems Compliance Officer and will work jointly to ensure that this strategic priority is appropriately risk managed and supported. Job Duties to include: Assist with gathering, processing and coordinating the Program's BSA, AML and OFAC data to help ensure compliance with the BSA and USA PATRIOT Act Utilize vendor transaction monitoring reports to identify suspicious activity or trends that could indicate non-compliance with MSB customer agreements including: violations of law and ineffective controls. Work with the Compliance Officer to track SAR, 314 and subpoena activity for the program. Assist the Payment Systems Compliance Officer with Initial and Ongoing due diligence activities including Annual Customer Risk Assessments, documentary review and KYC profiling review. Assist in ensuring that all clients and vendors within the Payment Systems vertical are in compliance with the terms and conditions set forth in the Bank's agreements with them Assist in preparation for, and organization of items for examinations and audits Maintains detailed documentation of all processes used to satisfy above activities Work with the Payment Systems Compliance Officer to identify and implement processes, systems and technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of methods employed to achieve above activities Ideal Candidate qualifications: 2-5 years AML compliance experience, preferably with a focus on FinTech or payments; CAMS designation, or willingness to obtain CAMS; Ability to self-manage and work independently; Understanding of emerging technologies and trends in the payments space.
