Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Part Time Guest Service Coordinator who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing, welcomes visitors with a smile and directing them appropriately with a positive customer service behavior, effectively answers and directs phone calls in a polite and friendly manner.

* Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a fax machine, a copy machine,
and a computer
• Sign for Certified mail and packages.
• Back up for Mail Clerk Position, this entails: Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail
• Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Uses the Internet and a wide variety of office software, such as Microsoft Office and desktop
publishing applications, and computer equipment to conduct research, communicate, create
spreadsheets, manipulate data and perform related functions.
• Answers General Human Resources questions

• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Work Schedule:

Variable Part Time position working Evenings between 4:30 pm - 8 pm, Monday thru Friday and every other weekend.

Required Qualifications: Competencies

Required Qualifications: Education and Experience
  • Accurate typing of 50 WPM.
  • Knowledge of excel, word and power-point skills
  • 3 or more years of experience in secretarial duties.
  • Health-related experience preferred.

In order to promote and maintain a healthy work environment, Adventist HealthCare will not hire applicants for employment who either state that they are nicotine users or who test positive for nicotine and drug use.

Adventist HealthCare will withdraw offers of employment to applicants who test positive for Cotinine (nicotine) and marijuana. Those testing positive are given the opportunity to re-apply in 90 days, if they can truthfully attest that they have not used any nicotine products in the past ninety (90) days and successfully pass follow-up testing.
