Summary

As an Analyst to the Director for Ops and Admin in the Office of Enterprise Governance (EG) and the Ombudsman (OMBD), you will serve as an expert in the administrative and operational program areas including planning and implementing programs (e.g. financial management/staffing, etc.); participate on cross-functional working groups and project teams to implement OCC-wide initiatives and programs; perform analyses, develop ad-hoc reports, and make recommendations EGOMB senior management.

Responsibilities

As a Program Analyst (Analyst to Director for Operations and Administration), you will:
  • Develop, implement and monitor business processes to manage business systems supporting the national quality assurance programs for bank supervision and non-bank supervision
    programs.
  • Participate and coordinate in developing automated processes and procedures. Administer those processes and procedures to support work functions within Enterprise Governance and
    Ombudsman.
  • Plan, organize and implement programs (e.g. financial management, staffing/FTE/workforce planning, personnel management processes, office space requirements, information technology planning, performance/operational metrics, etc.) in EG/OMBD.
  • Undertake and lead special projects at the request of the Director for Operations and Administration to support organizational goals. Recommend, review, and advise supervisor on operational and administrative policy, program direction, and program implementation.
  • Develop methods and systems to assess trends; present recommendations to management; formulate and analyze policy and operating procedures for program evaluation; establish and maintain monitoring practices to identify budget variances; interpret OCC policies; and establish controls for assessing program effectiveness.
  • Represent the EG/OMBD front office at meetings and roundtable discussions. Serve as subject matter expert on a full range of administrative and operational programs areas.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 60 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement:

You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-V band level. Examples of specialized experience for this position include:
  • Experience providing financial management, office space planning/requirements, or staffing/FTE/workforce planning services to an organization or agency; and
  • Serving as an advisor or consultant to senior management on operational, administrative functions/processes and other organizational matters.

The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
