The Clinical Lead Advanced Practitioner provides clinical care to patients through an interdisciplinary model, serving as the lead member of a care team consisting also of a dietitian, exercise trainer, and other clinicians that may be utilized in the model. The Clinical Lead Advanced Practitioner will monitor and manage the problems and conditions associated with obesity, prescribe pharmacotherapy to treat obesity, and engage patients into the multidisciplinary service model offered by CoreLife.
In addition to performing direct care in accordance with Adventist Healthcare/CoreLife agreement, the Clinical Lead Advanced Practitioner will serve as a clinical leader, supporting their provider colleagues while working closely with the clinical and operations teams on a variety of initiatives.
