Summary

As Supervisory Management & Program Analyst, you will direct and manage the activities of analysts related to assigned programs, operations and functions.

Location of position: 1800 F Street, Washington, DC

The Office of Systems Management is responsible for driving the acquisition effectiveness and operational efficiency of Information Technology systems within FAS and across the Federal government.

We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Planning, scheduling, reviewing and managing the workload of subordinates, providing guidance and advice as needed.
  • Developing, initiating, coordinating and maintaining strategic plans, procedures and methodology to establish and implement program processes and procedures.
  • Conducting analysis and studies including using quantitative and qualitative analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of assigned responsibilities.
  • Developing procedures and guidance to resolve stakeholder inquiries; communicating with internal and external senior leadership.
  • Reviewing and negotiating conflicting interpretation on proposed regulation and policy.

Occasional travel - Occasional travel may be required for meetings, conferences and training.

  • Undergo and pass a background investigation (Tier 4 investigation level).
  • Complete a financial disclosure report to verify that no conflict, or an appearance of conflict, exists between your financial interest and this position
  • Serve a one year supervisory or managerial probationary period, if required.

The GS-14 salary range starts at $122,530.00 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.

To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience managing a team by assigning workload and evaluating performance on high level, time sensitive projects and programs; developing major initiatives and management studies; interpreting, developing, and implementing policy; communicating with team members, internal and external stakeholders.

Required Documents
