Summary

This announcement is open to current Career or Career-Conditional OPM employees.

As a Human Resources Specialist (Info Systems) at the GS-0201-13, you will be part of MSAC Agency Compliance and Evaluation, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will be responsible for analyzing a wide variety of HC reports and HC data to assess the trends, activities and problems areas related to agency-wide and Government-wide HC management.

Responsibilities

  • Assesses the strengths and weaknesses in Federal agencies HC systems by reviewing reports generated by both ACE and the agencies, and other HC data sources.
  • Develops or creates reports for modeling data analytics in HC accountability as needed.
  • Identifies and collect necessary information; assembles and assess information gathered; formulates findings and recommendations; presents finding/results in a well organized, supportable, and clearly expressed manner.
  • Performs fact-finding, research, and functional analysis necessary to determine the nature and scope of new HC accountability requirements or changes.

Qualifications

For the GS13: You must have one year specialized experience at the next lower grade level (GS-12) or equivalent in the Federal Service which includes providing advisory services to managers relative to creation of information systems, reports, and statistical data; providing guidance on a variety of complex HR problems as they relate to HR systems; AND analyzing statistical data related to HR management or programs to identify trends or workforce characteristics that may warrant program changes and/or enhancements.

Merit promotion applicants must meet time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-12 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS 13 level.

You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
