Cyber Security Engineering Specialist
Raytheon Technologies is looking for Cyber Security Engineering Specialist to support the Transport & Cybersecurity Services (TCS2) program. Transport & Cybersecurity Services (TCS) - a long term contract supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). The functional capabilities are to provide the information technology (IT) infrastructure services to deliver timely, relevant, and accurate GEOINT in support of national security. TCS will provide creative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of transport and cybersecurity IT services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide to support the NGA GEOINT mission. The TCS contract consists of all NGA classified and unclassified Wide Area Networks (WANs), Campus Local Area Networks (LANs), not including data center LANs, wireless networks, telephone networks, and connections to TS Core Service Area (CSA)-provisioned capabilities within and between designated sites. It also includes cybersecurity services to encompass the skills and expertise to staff, develop, and operate a cutting edge Cyber Security Operations Cell (CSOC) which serves as the central point for security incident detection, cyber intelligence collection and analysis, response, investigation and reporting through the use of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, malware detection, forensics, auditing, and other capabilities. As a Cyber Security Engineering Specialist, you will provide Cyber Data Presentation Services with the capability to design, develop, strengthen, test, configure, employ, operate, integrate, sustain, and refresh operational dashboards and visualizations related to cyber security services and dataAdditional duties include but not limited to: A' . Provide cyber data presentation services on a standard 8x5service support levelA' . Provide feedback to design engineers and evaluates end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle.A' . Conduct research and evaluates technical performance of software products and overall segments and systems.A' . Ensure products and systems comply with requirements and government information assurance and cyber security standards and practices through formal verification methods.A' . Verify/validate systems with specific emphasis on network operations and cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures attentive on the threat to information networks.A' . Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.A' . Prepare assessments and cyber threat profiles of current and planned products based on sophisticated testing, research, and analysis.A' . Participate in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements.A' . Review test plans/procedures and ensures they verify/validate the requirements.A' . Develop and maintain problem-solving procedures to meet changing requirements.Clearance: Must be a US Citizen with a current TS/SCI clearance.Required Experience, Knowledge, and/or Skills: A' . Must be a US Citizen with an current TS/SCI Security ClearanceA' . Bachelors Degree or addition 8 related progressive years experience can be substituted for the degreeA' . +4 progressive years relevant experience working in Cyber Security, experience products and systems comply with requirements and government information assurance and cyber security standards and practices through formal verification methods.A' . Must HAVE or ability to obtain an IAT Level II within 6 months of employmentA' . Ability to guide multiple teams through to project completion.A' .
